Those expensive materials are really hard to get, where people should search to get to know those places. In this essay I’m going to talk about diamond history including the famous locations to get it, and the diamond trade.

Firstly, diamond was first discovered since 4000 years ago in a small town named “Golconda”. Since that time lots of companies started working on that sector for their countries since it gain lots of money such as the De Beers Consolidated Mines Ltd in South Africa. Moreover, some companies were trying to control the diamond price all over the world, such as the De Beers Consolidated Mines Ltd which controls 2 out of 3 world's diamond trade, it was noticeable in the early 20th century where it turned to be globally so it kept the diamond price the same. A Further point is that some companies were working on the same thing such as one company in Antwerp which was associated by Jewish society that has around 80% of the world's diamonds go through that city.

Since India is the main producer of diamond it has the cheapest diamond because 90% of the world's diamond are cut and polished over there, also producers pay their labors b only 40 Cents for 1 gem. Although India is the first producer of the diamond but they don’t get any from their own country, however they bring in diamond from other countries such as Belgium and South Africa. In addition, Dubai has a very important company that produces diamond regarding to the Indian diamond. UAE is giving that company lots of support and ideas in order to improve the diamond trade. This business worth around £1 Billion nowadays.

In conclusion, Although India is known by wars and violent behaviors, however it produces diamond which represent the meaning of Love for years ago. Lots of famous people nowadays are buying diamond to keep their good appearance so their fans would defiantly imitate them as a result the trading of diamonds is getting much popular.
