Her where I’m going to introduce myself, and it will include some specific details about my childhood, teenage years, my trips, my interests, and things that have influenced me and my future.

Starting with my childhood, well I’m Mohammad Khalfan Al-yaaqoubi, I was born in 1980 in Dubai’s “Maktoom hospital” since my mother family was living there. We used to live in Dubai before we moved to Abu-Dhabi because of my father job. My father worked in the sea police where they have to stay three days in the sea working to protect our country’s borders. On the other hand my mother was a school principal in a primary school. I have only one older brother named Faisal and four sisters younger than me. Before going to school I used to be quite a good boy and I joined the school when I was six years old. I was one of the bright boys in the very early years but with time I turned to be a very naughty boy and hyper active. My mum faced lots of difficulties because my dad used to go three days away so she had to ever thing by herself. As I grow up my problems increased and I used to fight with my classmates and our neighbors. At the same time I started gaining weight till I became over weight.

My teenage years were tough years on my parents, I started to do things that made them go out of their minds, I started smoking, coming home late, fighting as usual, stealing my parents cars at night and my level in school decreased, so I had to stop and continue my studies in the Petroleum Center for three years till I graduated. As a result I had to work for the petrol company because of the deal that I had signed it. I had to start working at a very early age where I was 17-18 years old. I worked in a very far place named “Bu-Hassa” where we worked for the whole day outside in the hard climate whether it’s too hot and dry or too cold. I had to work for five days over there and come back to Abu-Dhabi for 2 days.

Since I have worked and I had my own salary I have traveled to many places. I have traveled to Morocco, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Thailand, India, Iran, D-Jeboty, Yaman, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. My favorite trip was to Morocco, where I traveled with my friends for three weeks, we stayed there with one of our friends. We visited lots of tourist places such as the Jemma el Fna which is a large central market where you can enjoy the food and there are henna artists calling you to come over and ‘just look’ but they will like you to actually do one. If you go to Marrakech and do not go to the Jemaa El Fna then I’m telling you, you have so missed out. The Koutoubia Mosque and the Hassan II Mosque are very historic buildings, The two mosques are beautiful, partly surrounded with its garden and just looked so peaceful. The Majorelle Garden which is a very pleasant gardens with some very impressive plants and architecture, it’s a great way to escape the city, it’s very peaceful inside and all the water and greenery makes you feel cooler & calmer. Agadir Kesbah the kasbah in the ancient ruined walls of the old city, the view from up there is breath taking, you can see the whole of the Agadir beach, and the curved coast.

Well I have lots of friends so in my free time I love to spend my time with them, going to the mall, swimming, going to the cinema, car racing, and spend the weekend in the desert. Also I have things to do by myself like watching T.V, chatting with my friend whether in phone or messenger. I love going to the cinema and my favorite film is “Wanted”. Well if I had the chance I would love to travel all around the world, so I can discover numbers of countries, cultures, customs and religions.

Since I worked in very early years of my life, I learnt to be more independent and more confidant, and the place I worked in was so far away than my home, also my supervisors were not local but “Indian”, and they were making our job harder so that experience gave me the desire to carry on with my education in order to get a better job, And now I’m studying in ADMC so I can get the higher diploma degree that would help me to had better job in Abu-Dhabi.

In the future I want to be a successful worker, who has a good job, who can help his family, and a person who is loyal to his country. And If I could change anything in the UAE I would decrease the working time.
